Passive Voice

Passive voice adalah suatu bentuk gramatikal dimana subjek kalimat tidak melakukan aksi, melainkan menerima aksi atau ditindaklanjuti agent lain yang disebutkan ataupun tidak.

 Berikut ini adalah contoh kalimat dari passive voice

1.        Present tense

Active:

S+ verb 1/ verb 1-s/es+ O

Junaedi reads a book
Passive:

O+ am/is/are+ verb 3+ by+ S

A read is read by junaedi

2.       Present Continuous Tense

Active:

S+ Am/is/are+ (V1+ing)+ O

Junaedi is read a book

Passive:

O+ am/is/are+ being+ verb 3+ by+ S

A book is being read by junaedi

3.       Present Perfect Tense

Active:

Aktif: S+ have/has+ verb 3+ O

Juneadi has read a book

Passive:

Pasif: O+ have/has+ been+ verb 3+ by+ S

A book has been read by junaedi

4.       Past Tense

Active:

S + verb-2 +O

Junaedi read a book

Passive:

S (direct object) + was/were + past participle +/- by … (agent)

A book was read by junaedi

5.       Past Continous Tense

Active:

S+was/were+V.ing

Junaedi was read a book

Passive:

to be +V3

A book wa being read by randy

6.       Past Perfect Tense

Active:

S+had+V3

Junade had read a book

Passive:

A book had been read by junaedi

7.       Future tense

Active

S+will+V1

Juadi will read a book

Passive

A book will be read by Junadi
